Dog Rescue Stories: Meet Max and Sadie – The Silly Adventure Dogs!

By Jarissa Aquinde, Positively Woof Rescue and Adoption Story Editor

Meet the Silly Adventure Dogs…and their feline siblings!
Max, a Boxer, was adopted eight years ago from Adopt A Boxer Rescue when he was just two.  Now ten years old, he’s the eldest of his rescued pack!
Sadie, a four year old Pit Bull mix, was adopted from Blues City Animal Rescue almost two years ago. She and her older brother, Max, love to explore the outdoors together!
These two adopted pups share their forever home with two rescued cats, Cho (a black cat) and Mr. (a tiger cat). Cho was adopted as a kitten six years ago from the Humane Society. Mr. followed his forever parents home one freezing night before a huge snow storm. He was about a year old and was skin and bones. He plopped himself on the doorstep and hasn’t left since.
Mr. preferred to be by himself for the first three years in his forever home…until Sadie (who supposedly wasn’t great with cats) arrived. Now, they are inseparable! They wake up their family every day to the sounds of Mr. purring while Sadie is licking him.
