Dog Rescue Stories: Roxy’s Forever Mom Couldn’t Resist Her Big Brown Eyes

By Jarissa Aquinde, Positively Woof Rescue and Adoption Story Editor

My name is Roxy and I live with my forever mom in Fayetteville, Georgia!

I was found roaming the streets in a small city called Senoia, where The Walking Dead is filmed. Luckily, a zombie didn’t get me. City employees found me and took me in for a few days. Then, on December 18th, 2014, I met my forever mom!I was so excited to have someone give me so much attention. I wrapped my front legs around my soon to be mom and begged her with my big brown eyes to please not leave me. Thankfully, she couldn’t resist my eyes and sweet personality. Now, I’m living the best life a pup could have!
