Dog Rescue Stories: Ruby Is Finally Living her Best Life!

Ruby has experienced the worst, and now her forever family is showing her the best that life has to offer.

In her previous life, all Ruby knew was abuse, neglect, fear, and loneliness. Her first owner wrapped her mouth completely shut, and perhaps used her as a bait dog for fighting. If that wasn’t horrific enough, she was abandoned in a filthy pantry without water, food, light, or hope.image4

The volunteers of Animals Benefit Club of Arizona rescued her and two other dogs from that hellish existence. Because of the dedication and compassion of these volunteers, Ruby’s forever pawrents now have a little piece of heaven in their home. They try to expose her to the best parts of life:  Exploring the mountains of Arizona, chasing butterflies, treats, toys, naps, and of course, LOTS of belly rubs.image2
