>WELLNESS DOG FOOD 95% Beef Topper for Dogs, 13.2 ounce cans, Best-by dates: 02 Feb 19; 29 Aug 19 and 30 Aug 19 (March 18, 2017)

>NEW BLUE BUFFALO  BLUE Wilderness Rocky Mountain Recipe Red Meat Dinner Wet Food for Adult Dogs because the product may contain elevated levels of naturally occurring beef thyroid hormone. (SECOND recall in March 2017)

>BLUE BUFFALO  17 varieties of its Blue Divine Delights and Blue Wilderness Trail Trays due to quality issues with the foil seals on the top of the cups. There have been no reports of animals being injured. (March 2017)

>EVANGER’s & AGAINST THE GRAIN Evanger’s Dog and Cat Food Company, Inc. of Wheeling, Illinois, is expanding its voluntarily recall of specific lots of its beef products due to their potential of contamination with the deadly drug, pentobarbital. Pentobarbital can affect animals that ingest it, and possibly cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance or nausea — or in extreme cases, death. (February/March 2017)
