By Jarissa Aquinde, Positively Woof Rescue and Adoption Story EditorHi! My name is Ollie and I am living a spoiled life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but that wasn’t always the case. My mom was found pregnant and alone on the streets of Alabama. She was malnourished and who knows how long she struggled on the streets alone, but thankfully, she was strong enough to survive until some friendly humans took her in.This kind human took her into her home and took care of her until she gave birth to me and my five siblings! All of us are different colors so, we really don’t know what breed we are or what our dad may have looked like. We are all pretty cute, though! Our kind human got in contact with a transfer rescue in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin called Sandi Paws Rescue. The rescue put my mom and my whole litter online and that’s when my new story truly began. My Mom had known that Dad wanted to rescue a bully breed. He knew how loving we are and just wanted to show the world our true colors. Mom had been searching online and found my litter, which included two brindle babies and she knew Dad would love us. Dad called Sandi Paws right away to ask about me and waited patiently to meet me upon my arrival in Wisconsin. When I got to Wisconsin, it was bittersweet to see my family members getting adopted but I knew someone great would be coming for me. I was exhausted from the trip from Alabama that morning and was a little shy when I finally met my new family. Mom and Dad were nervous for me to meet my new sister because they say she is high maintenance and needed a quiet brother… but I was on my best behavior and they fell in love! I have been living the good life ever since!Mom and Dad were nervous about how I would get along with my sister, Maisy. Maisy is a Cairn Terrier, about six months older than me and full of sass. I am now about a year old at 62 pounds and Maisy is only 12 pounds. Although she is so much smaller than me, we truly make the best of friends and I don’t know what I would do without her! We are a very unlikely duo, but we are the perfect match!
