Dog Rescue Stories: Shep the Blind Beagle – Special Needs Dog Is Full of LoveD

Shep the Blind Beagle

Shep was rescued outside of Birmingham, Alabama.  Sadly, he was neglected and tethered for years, and because of this, suffered from injuries to his eyes and neck. Thanks to donations from fellow animal lovers, the rescue was able to send Shep to an eye specialist, who removed his one remaining eye.  He was finally able to live a pain free life!  Soon after, Shep found his forever home, and even though he is blind, he is a carefree, chubby and happy pup! He’s the perfect example of how amazing and lovable disabled pets can be!
